Impact

About me
I defend Israel’s sovereignty, uphold the Knesset, and turn conviction into statecraft.
Born in Beersheba to parents who emigrated from Morocco, I served as an officer in the IDF and as an investigator in the Israel Security Agency before becoming a criminal defense attorney. In 2015 I entered the Knesset for Likud, and in 2022 I was elected Speaker of the 25th Knesset.
From chairing the committee that drafted the Nation-State Basic Law to serving as Minister of Justice and Minister of Public Security, I have made the same case throughout: a sovereign Israel, secure in its land and unapologetic in its institutions.
